Student Leadership Summit (SLS)

Traditionally, the ITE Student Leadership Summit (SLS) is hosted by a selected university within its district. However, recognizing the smaller size and capacity of many MOVITE student chapters, the MOVITE Student Committee introduced a collaborative approach. Student chapters are encouraged to form a joint planning team and host the SLS alongside the MOVITE Annual Meeting. This combined format has proven highly beneficial, allowing students to not only lead their own summit but also engage with professionals through technical sessions and networking opportunities. Since 2022, the MOVITE SLS has successfully been held in conjunction with a MOVITE meeting.
