2024 MOVITE Spring Conference

The Nebraska Section of ITE is excited to host the 2024 MOVITE Spring Conference and invites you to join us in Omaha, Nebraska at the The Cottonwood Hotel.

Hotel Information

For out of town attendees, there is a room block at the Cottonwood Hotel for the nights of Wednesday, April 17, 2024 and Thursday, April 18, 2024 using the event name “MOVITE Spring Meeting”. The room block is available until 03/26/2024. There are two room rates available:

• A general room rate for $175/night, which is available 4/16/2024-4/18/2024. To book this room type click here.
• A government rate for $110/night, which is available 4/17/2024-4/18/2024. To book this room type click here.

For attendees staying the night: The Cottonwood Hotel offers $30 valet overnight parking (which includes parking during the day).

For attendees not staying the night: The Cottonwood Hotel offers $10 valet parking during the day.

Other options include:

1. Surface Parking Lots: North and south of the hotel which ranges from a daily rate of $25-40 (prices vary on day of week and how busy the lot is). See Blackstone District parking map: Parking — The Blackstone District.
2. Parking Meters: See the Park Omaha website (Park Omaha – More options. Less cruising.) for pricing of meters. Note that the Orange parking meter zones will be cheaper than the Purple zones.
3. ORBT or Metro Bus: System Map | Metro (ometro.com)
4. Ride share, bike, scooter, walk, swing through the buildings like Spider-Man.

Conference Registration

Registration includes:

• 2 Days of Informational and Technical Sessions
• Multiple Keynote Speakers
• Breakfast, Break Snacks, and Lunch each day
• Social Events on Wednesday and Thursday

For our first social event, join us Wednesday afternoon at The Fat Putter’s fun and unique miniature golf course. Registration for this event is $40 per attendee, which will include two 9-hole rounds, two drinks, and a custom golf ball!

Please CLICK HERE to register by March 26 and save $50. The rate for the early bird registration is $335 for ITE members and $385 for non-members. After March 26, rates will be $385 for ITE members and $435 for non-members. Students registration is $25 and there will be no price increase for students.

Company Sponsorships

As is the case with all MOVITE conferences, there will be an opportunity for your company to sponsor the conference. This sponsorship allows companies to show their support for the conference and MOVITE through a monetary donation, which will be used to offset conference costs. In return, depending on the level of sponsorship selected (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond), MOVITE will recognize your company in various media and during conference events in order to maximize visibility of your company to conference attendees. Exhibitor Registration

For companies wishing to showcase goods and services at the conference, 13 booths will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. An exhibitor registration of $1,500 includes a booth and a code for conference registration for one-person (the code will be emailed to the exhibitor registrant). Sponsorships, if desired, must be purchased separately. If there will be more than one Exhibitor at a booth an additional conference registration must be completed to participate in conference activities. Exhibitor space will be assigned on a first-come, first serve basis. A floor plan of the conference area is shown below.

• Exhibitors will set up outside of the Gold Coast Ballroom in the Gold Coast Foyer.
• Meals, refreshments, and combined sessions will be held in the Gold Coast Ballroom.
• Technical breakout sessions will be held in the Gold Coast Ballroom and Schimmel Ballroom.
• Exhibitor booths can be set up starting Wednesday afternoon (exact times will be provided at a later date). Exhibitor booths should be taken down by Friday, April 19 at noon.
• Power and internet service for vendors is included with the price of sponsorship.
• Each vendor will be provided a skirted 8 ft. by 3 ft. table within an approximate 9 by 6 ft. area. Exhibitor booths are located in a non-secure area and items left overnight will be at the owner’s risk.
